flow keeps digging a hole in my sand bed

I have about 2" of sand on the bottom of my tank and the tunze kit ts24 I am useing keeps digging a hole in the sand and covering everything with sand. I have the flow down to 50% and 30%.

what can I do to stop this, I tryed pointing them across the tank but that made things worse. right now they are pointed toward the center.

is it because the universal bracket points down slightly (like barely noticeable) should I get a magnetic holder or a tunze rock?

The rock aims the pumps up so this would definitely fix it but you should be able to correct the angle of the rail with some sort of spacer or one of the included pieces. In general this won't help too much because the flow is so wide, the rocks have enough angle that it eliminates this issue. If the tank is new, over time the sand will compact and this will be less of an issue as weight is added by bacteria which also adhere the pieces. Use Tide mode to run just one at a time.

the switch on the side, it is the one with two arrows pointed at each other. The pumps shoulld be in the first and last sockets. The interval light will come on and then yiou set an interval.

In general you just want to run one at a time, the idea is to switch back and forth so pockets of debris cannot form. In large tanks running both is OK. In a few months if you want to you can try again.

It is still digging a hole in the sand, now instead of two craters it has only one. I think its because of the bracketts im useing. i guess ill wait till my magnetic ones come in
