Flow recommendations????

Ok, so here are the two options I was looking at for my new 220gal tank. The tank will be 60x36x24. I want to make sure that plenty of flow reaches the front of the tank as it will be an island configuration with all the returns, etc on the back 36" section.
I am trying to be conscientious of overall cost, power consumption, and efficiency, and heat.

Option 1:

1x--Sequence Dart (3200-3600gph) (approx. 180w)
1x--OM 4-way

Cost: approx. $550
Total turnover: approx 3200-3600gph
Total wattage: approx 180w
(Note: not sure if the OM uses much wattage.)

Option 2:

2x--Seio M2600 (2600gph) (55w each)
1x--Oceanrunner 6500 (1700gph) (120w) for closed loop
2x--SCWD's for closed loop

Cost: $300
Total turnover:approx 6900gph
Total wattage: 230w

So what do you all think? Oh--and noise is another factor I'm trying to minimize. Thanks:)

Just by looking at what you have options for, I would go with option 2 by far.Not only for the lower price/ higher wattage but the overall flow rate.

Do you think having the SCWD's on the closed loop will be enough to break up the flow from the Seio's? I just don't want the whirlpool effect.
I know the OM is the better product for wavemaking--but I'm having a hard time getting past the $320 :eek2:
