Would anyone happen to know what type of fittings to use on the Profilux flow sensors? I have the 9000 l/h version and it will not work with an 1 1/4" PVC fitting.

Worked just fine for me, i think the thread over here is different then what you guys use though.

Ok, from what I now understand, the sensor is British Standard Thread (BSP) whereas in the US we have National Pipe Thread (NPT). For future reference, and unless I'm missing something, US customers will need something like a 1 1/4 PVC BSP Thread x Socket fitting.

That would be it mate. I couldn't remember the names but new your thread was different.

@Neo: Did you ever locate the correct adapter fitting to get the GHL 9000 l/h flow sensor to plumb into your 1-1/4" NPT system? If so, where do you source the component(s)?

yes, i obtained the part from McMaster-Carr. item number 4654N24

you can order online or will call if you have one locally

McMaster-Carr had the part and it is a Spears 335-012 Thank you for the information, Note the O-rings need to be removed as this is a pipe thread adapter that will go from BSPT 25mm to 1 1/4 slip.

has anyone found a reasonable north American supplier of the fittings? ive been looking for about 2 months for the fittings for a 5000l/h flow sensor and its not bsp as ive now ordered them and they do not thread on.

I tried to use spears 8399-010
