flow suggestions?

I have a 29g and the only flow is coming from the spray bar from the return. It;s a mag7 and its split to run the uv sterilizer so i'm thinking by the time it gets to the tank i'm looking at about 300gph. I want to add more flow and possibly a wavemaker but i dont know the best way to do this. I don't want to add too much flow, but i want to try to add some random flow. I was thinking about just adding a small power sweep. Or maybe 2 maxijet4's with a wavemaker. any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I run a SCWD on my tank besides other outlets but my step son runs an eheim 1250( I think )restricted with 2 outlets on a 10G nanoreef and his tank does better then mine. Although his cycle from side to side is about 2-3 minutes. Mines is every 20 sec. since its a much bigger pump. Mine has been running for about 1 1/2 years. JMO

i've heard complaints about the scwds failing in time. I think i'm going to try the hydor-flow rotating head on a maxijet, unless something better comes up. I just cant decide on a 600 or 900, i'm afraid the 900 is going to be too much flow in a small tank.

I have the hydor flow on a maxi jet 600 in my 30 gallon. I tried it with the 900 first, but it was too much flow for my tank, it blew the sand around! I also have the SCWD on my sump return, I've had it for about a year and a half and have not had any problems. I hope I didn't just jinx myself!

You just need a strainer on your inlet. And I would recommend a remote pump or canister filter. A maintained canister filter that is.
My scwd is in the dark in a cabinet so that might help.
