I still can't decide where to place mine. I'm hesitant to place it any higher than the bottom third of my tank.

I know some of you also got this from Steve at the last meeting. I'd like to hear about the placement of your piece, so please chime in if you own one.

I have mine at the bottom of the tank under 250w MH right now.

I had dumped everything into a temporary/quarantine tank after the meeting and only put the monti into the display tank this past week.

I'm thinking to get it up to half way or so, and see how the base color develops.

Mine are about 2/3rds down kind of underish a ledge. Seem to be doing fine.

mine is about 1/2 up, also sorta under an overhang, seems okay. purple polyps are out, waiting to green up a bit.

Mine is currently about 2/3 down under t5s and seems to be doing well. Base is still a light tan color.

I'd like to keep it as low as possible, maybe 30" from the bulb. Since reeffarmers has it midway, and experimented with raising it up, I fear I won't get the coloration.

I'm going to try somewhere low, but near the center.
