At what point in an infestation is it simply too late? I was at Petco today (no idea why..) and I saw this:

Sorry about the horrible quality video. Trying to take a decent video while holding a squirming 7 month old is really fun. Anyway... I am thinking about adopting this fish and trying to save it. There are flukes all over it, it's really disgusting. I can see them crawling around on him. Respiratory rate is up, fish is on it's side, very skinny. I have the know-how, meds, empty qt.... but at this point, what are the chances the fish will survive the first dip? I'm worried that he will bleed out when the flukes die because there are so many. Any input is appreciated. This is why I can never support Petco.
