I tried this product in my canister to lower PO4. Within 3 days all my leathers closed up, just like with Seachem PhosGuard. I removed it yesterday and already the leathers are looking better.

If you lower the PO4 level to fast, it can shock corals.

I have done search after search to find out composition of this stuff with no luck. wish I could help.

Can't find content info either. Coral closing could be rapid PO4 reduction though. I'd be reluctant to use it without knowing what's in it.

I don't know what is in the product. I can only speak from the experience of using Phosguard for about a week, and the symptoms were the same. When I removed it, both leathers bounced back within 48 hours.

FWIW, I use GFO and change it about once / month.
