Fluval Edge?

I am absolutely SOLD on "The Package". Thing is, I have a Fluval EDGE tank. Have you ever sold the package to anyone for an EDGE? What were the experiences? I worry because bio load climbs quickly in such a small tank, and I know the shipments contain a ton of hijackers, and trapping in these tanks could prove difficult.

Very anxious to here from you!

It should be no different than any other small tank-- Tricky and high maintenance. ;) Seriously though, several people have done nanos with the TBS package in the few years i have been watching. I don't think you need to worry about trapping in the tank, just pull the rock and grab the critter. It is pretty easy to get the hitchers that way and especially easy on smaller rock before it even hits the tank. Good luck.

PS I am betting Richard doesn't even know what an EDGE is...I had to google it. Neat tank.

Thanks guys! Yeah, the edge is really a great little system! Fluval markets it as a freshwater system, so lighting is a required mod for a reef. You guys should search the nano section. There's some amazing little reefs in those tanks. Richard, as soon as I get my lighting squared away, it's on!

Thanks,
Randy

No problem with nano tanks and Richards stuff! I had to cut the gorgs down to 1/3 of the original size and gave away the "frags".... oh and Richard says ya can't keep sponges much longer than a year, I've had the ones he sent me for 2 or 3 years now LMAO!
