Flying with fish in unpressurized aircraft

We live about 4.5 hours from Denver where we can find much more selection when looking for fish. I looking to see if anyone knows if flying the fish home would have any negative impact on the fish. We often fly over the mountains about 13-14k feet
Flying would get us home in about two hours vs 4.5 so would reducing the time be worth the high altitude for about an hour? Thanks!
