The tank looks awesome. Really makes me wish I would have done this before setting mine up.
It is only 3 months old, so I don't want to cause any issues with what I have in there right now.
Be sure to provide updated photos as you start to see colors and things on the rocks.

Did I see that you used silicone to attach the rock walls once complete to the back glass of the tank?

Yes I did use silicone to attach the wall to the glass, after i let it cure for a week then i foamed the gaps where the walls meet the over flows and the glass.

Think Imma do it. Went n looked at the stuff last night. Couldn't find the black foam. Found the white-ish/yellow "great stuff". Went to lowes. One sheet of egg crate will cover my wall plus some ( trim trim). Congrats On the new bloom haha

Haha... We can go back. Thinkin bout Wednesday night! Prolly start Monday afternoon. Got some nice prices of lace rock for Dave to be seeded. And a few long flat pieces of the other rock to make "shelves" on the wall. Will the foam work I was talkin a.b? Where u get the black?

Dont use great stuff. I have been told by a number of people that unless u cover it %100 with sand which is hard to do. It will break down under uv lighting
