For those of you that make trips to the beach for critters...

I think we also managed to catch a Lysmata rathbunae. Not 100% positive, he has the stripes like he should but is more clear then red. Definately not a ghost shrimp.

OK, my box has some room now...lol, did anyone take anypics? Does anyone have alot of something and would be willing to share?lol

Great time, and great outing for the kids, "I want to share" that was unforgetable those who were there should remember that. I'm def going to get a sein thats for darn sure.

I ended up with several pipefish, a tiny seahorse, several gobys lots of the right-handed hermits.
I also ended up with about 6 hermits that are too big for my tanks. If anyone wants them let me know.

hey DJChestnutRabbit.... Did you get any small gobies, like 1" long or so, and what kind were they? if you have any extras, i may want to buy one off of ya's

After things started getting stirred up, there was a guy on the beach who said--Is that a shark out there? No, it was one of the three dolphins that were swimming right off shore. Two of them got pretty close in to where we were collecting.

How cool would it be to have a Saturday morning/afternoon ORCA meeting/frag auction/collection/bar-b-q/meet-everybody type meeting there or anywhere else along the shore???

I'll post a link to the photos later tonight.

that would be freaking awesome, we should talk to the OCRA Meeint Planner peoples abotu that. We could carpool up there and it could be like a 12-2 to like 8-9 thing, that would be totally cool...IF the weather allows it to be....lol

BTW Jason i also have 2 hermits that are to big for me, so if you find anyone to take yours let me know they can have both of mine also.

Seth they are code gobies. There is a little bit of info about them online, but none that say if they are reef safe or not. The tile fish we got are awesome also.
