I found a great picture book that really stretches children's imagination. My 3 and 7 year old loved it.

The book is called Flotsam by David Weisner.

Well, I don't have any kids......but thats looks like its perfect for my reading level.........

Are there lots of pictures and colors?

I especially like pop-ups.......

It's recommended for ages 4-8, which is right at my level. Might be too advanced for Doug:p

There's no reading, all illustration, Mark. The baby may still respond to the images, though;)

Oh I have read this book literally hundreds of times! My son absolutely LOVED this book when he was a baby... it was how he learned to count by touching the bugs as I read the text.

Have you all read Sam the Minnow? It has these funky eyes that pop out of the book and roll around in these pastic water filled balls so that it appears as if its looking at you. Good story!
