Formalin

I'm beefing up my quarantine procedure and was planning on adding a formalin dip as a standard step, and I went to the store to get some, when I have no idea what formulations people use! The owner recommended a couple things that he uses, but they're all blends that contain formaldehyde as well as other stuff (usually including malachite green). Is this standard or is there just a pure formalin that people use? I did some googling but I couldn't find anything. Thanks for recommendations!

Oh and the owner of my LFS said that the one he swears by is NOX-ICH

Get Formalin MS from FishVet and follow the instructions on the bottle.

NOX-ICH is Malachite Green - not a very effective treatment for ich
