formula one for mantis?

hello everyone
has anyone tried feeding formula one flake food to your mantis?

i know they like meaty foods but i tried feeding mine formula one flakes to see if it would eat them. he went crazy over them. he was swimming around in the water trying to catch them. i think he thought it was just as much a game as it was a meal.
just wondering if anyone had fed a mantis flakes. was also wondering if frozen chunks of frozen formula onje would work as food...i have extra i dont need.

I feed Formula One frozen food to my mantis...he loves it. He loves Cyclop-eeze flakes, too. Haven't tried the Formula One flakes, though.

I used to feed the pellets (large fish breed) to my peacock mantis and it liked it okay. But my new mantis refuse to eat any of it.

That's what I've fed my N. wennerae from day one and she loves it. She'll come out and sit on the rocks at mealtime, waiting for just the right moment to skim the surface and nab some flake.
