Found an Eunicid

I found a eunicid living in a burrow under a small rock in my tank. She had all these pebbles glued together in a burrow on the bottom of the rock.

I am 100% sure she is a Eunicid since she has 5 tentacles on top of her head and I saw her extrude her pharynx and I have to hold absolutely still and barely move my eyes otherwise she zips back into her burrow.

I've read that the burrowing eunicids are all detrivores. Can I get confirmation on this?

Have a look at You Tube ,Search eunicid and see what comes up .I'll let you make up your own mind once you've done that

Burn everything that has come into contact with your tank! Actually when I find one, I just let them run around until I see them doing something bad, which has never happened yet.

They're like bristle worms, most are harmless, a few are bad.

I second Airwolf75, let it stay around until you catch it doing something bad, it is not the worms fault that it ended up in your aquaria so you shouldn't dispose of it just because it "may" do something bad.
