Found Thorite!!!!!!

"They"?

You talking about someone like Lowe's or Home Depot or somewhere else?

I'm just wanting to know for future reference.

Thanks,
Ryan

Sweet! I'll take a bucket. I just sent you a PM -- You must have gotten in contact with the same guy I did. He hasn't gotten back to me yet. If it isn't a problem, just go ahead and order me a bucket :)

Any unused portion should be fine to store for several months to a year. The lid on the pail will keep out moisture. Just store in your home. Let me know what we want . I am going to order Monday. I will not need an entire pail.

Check out the thread on making pillars. Thorite is a fast setting cement with some kind of polymer mix in it that makes it set up and cure quickly. We're going to use it to build some live rock pillars.

Ill take some of that also, but i will not need it untill i have enought rock to glue together. Could i just buy a little from one of you when i get me enough rock? I wont need a whole bucket.

Actually, I was hoping for a two headed lawnmower blenny (2x the algae eating potential) and glow in the dark sps (it would really save money on moonlights if your corals naturally glowed).

Sure.

I too have been looking at the pillar build lately. Good luck and please post once you have built because we will come. If anyone ever comes to the ETRC meetings please let me know I would like to buy some too (if there is any left). I just bought some water stop cement to cover my pipes.
I wonder if you could use a food saver to seal the thorite to prevent moisture and longer shelf life? Again good luck.
