FOWL Setup

I have a 65 gallon FOWLR currently cycling. Before i add on my fish I want to double check that my set up is good enough.
So I have 70 Ibs of live rock, a protein skimmer (reef octupus 110 INT) and two 550- 600 GPH Power heads in place.
I am not going to add any additional mechanical or chemical filter.

Does this setup sound OK ? I am not headed for any disasters right ?

You'll be fine as long as you don't go crazy on the stocking. As for mechanical filtration it's not required plenty of people just let the organisms in the tank clean the rock and sand, but I still like to run a form of it.

I am planning on two nemo one gupy one damsel and a hermit carb

I will run the mechanical filter after water changes only.

For that small of a bio load I don't see any problems I personal run mechanical filtration just to clear up the water, but it is a pain to always have to change it, and the chemical filtration I run to help lower phosphates GFO and Carbon to also clear up the water and keeps the aquarium from smelling to much like the ocean. But if you only going to keep that small of a bio load and not over feed you should be fine.

I think you are good to go. You might even add some cheap soft corals to make your tank more interesting (mushrooms, xenia, kenya tree coral, etc). They are pretty hardy, don't need a lot of light and use nutrients from the water.
