Not sure if anyone has mentioned this before or not... but my girlfriend and I checked out Aquarium Pets in Oshkosh on Friday evening.

They seem to have a decent selection of dry goods and a fairly good selection of inverts and fish. Not much for coral though. They do carry RO/DI water and again, quite a bit of various dry goods.

not sure what the exact times are but reef and pet has new hours...i think...not positive but i think they are open now until Tues-Fri 7:30...and still closed on mon...hafta post again when i can confirm it...great selection tho! love the store...been to many LFS in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Parts of Illinois. And i must say they def have the best selection of coral. and there prices are pretty good too. Great store.

I've know the owner of Aquarium Pets in Oshkosh, for about 18 years now. Jim is a good guy, his prices can be a little high, but he is the only salt water place in Oshkosh that has any reasonable amount of live stock. He also carries Fresh water,
rodents, snakes, spiders and a lot more. He truly know his stuff when it comes to lizards and snakes too.

Petsmart no longer matches online prices, I was there a couple weeks back and I found that out the hard way, ended up leaving most of the things at the checkout and buying only what had to have that day.

Ya sorry, I should have updated that, and it happened around the same time that DFS raised there IO/RC prices, so it was a double hit.

Has anybody heard of Traxler's Kennel & Pet Shop outside of Omro on 21? Sounds like they are only FW and pond, but I never even knew it existed. Anybody ever been there?

Trexler's has been there for years!! She woks with 4H kids a lot, she has only fresh water, and small furry critters. She is unique...
But has a huge heart... Not bad if u need fresh water fish.

Just an update, I talked to Jeff the other day (he maintains the the tank where I work) and he is changing his hours to saturday only, and he said that he is giving out free brine shrimp if you stop in.

For what it's worth - I found out that Aquatic Imports in Appleton is only open 12-5 on SATURDAY's ONLY!!! Its called "summer hours" or something....
