Foxface One-Spot / Magnificent Hybrid ?

Hello, want to see if anyone else has had the same experience or fish ? I bought it as a One-Spot Foxface. When I bought it was about 2.5" long, the tiniest Foxface I'd ever seen !!! When I first got it, the spot was more prevalent. Since it has came home, rarely see JUST the spot. Almost always looks like the picture, just a black stripe down the back, stops at the spot, or where it would be. This is how he looks at rest, just being casual. Looks like all mottled camo when threatened or at bed-time. Was wondering id it were possibly a hybrid or mix between the usual One-Spot and the more Black & White Magnificent ?

My 1spot looks sorta like that. The black is not quite so extensive on mine. I'd guess that it's just a 1spot at the far end of the bell curve.

How long have you had it? How big is it now? It looks small, still.

I had a foxface that went from a couple inches to 10+ in a year or two. He would have a spot sometimes, and other times he would not. The larger he got the less he would have it. However one time he did go brownish black on top half and yellow below- similar to yours. It lasted about six months- and then he went back to all yellow.
