Foxface with two white spots

Need help identifying the source of these mystery white spots.... I have the following fish:

1 Longnose Hawkfish
2 Snowflake clowns
2 Banggai Cardinals
1 Foxface
1 Yellow Tang
2 Matted FileFish

all appear healthy and are eating. The foxface and only the foxface has two white spots one large (4mm) and one small (2mm) on his body. appetite is good breathing seems normal. The spots appeared today for the first time. I have been told that it is ich but the spots seem to be too large to me... thoughts.

That is NOT ich. Perhaps the Foxface brushed up against a coral and got stung. Or perhaps the Yellow Tang backed into it with it's tang. In any case, it is not ich and it is more than likely nothing to worry about. Keep an eye on it. My guess is those spots will be gone in a day or so.

Does it look like a skin lesion or a translucent shell,pouch,pod? Sorry cant tell by the pics

It definitely looks more like a skin lesion as opposed to a pod or pouch of some sort... The tang does often slap her tail against the foxface when he gets too close but I have never seen evidence of any damage (until now I suppose)...

As of today there are only the two spots still and no other fish seem to be affected so will keep an eye on it...

Rabbitfish will show white spots on the body as a stress reaction. The white spots will appear and disappear seemingly at random. The appearance may send you running for a net and a bottle of copper. Meanwhile, the fish will present with crystal clear eyes and fins, and will not scratch itself, display gasping behavior, will eat and socialize without any sign of transmission to other fish. It's marine ich or velvet only if it's otherwise symptomatic. It seems to be a rabbitfish thing.
I don't know the physiology of it, only that it's not pathological.
