Frag Auction - Disappointed with won items!! :-)

OK .. I HAVE TO VENT SOMEWHERE ...


@ the frag auction I won the following 3 items.

#1 - 3" (blue Tort)
#2 - 2" (Prostata) (sp?)
#4 - 2" (shawn Bennet) (sp?)


I have to say .. when you buy frags, alot of times you know what you're getting yourself into ... and you know that when the seller says its 3" - it will really ONLY BE 2 1/4" ... it's one of those known disappointments in the hobby that one silently lives with. lol

This is the first time that i've bought a frag ..... and not seen it before hand ...


now that i got home ... pulled it out ... i was REALLY CONFUSED. I BID ON a 3" frag ... and i couldn't find it in the bag.
Was it that small that i couldn't see it with my bare eyes? Do i need glasses?

I pulled a 6" Blue Tort out of the bag & looked under it, trying to find the 3" Frag ... NO WHERE TO BE FOUND! WHAT IS GOING ON HERE GUY?


so WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU GUYS GIVE ME A 6" FRAG? what is wrong with the world?
THIS HAS NEVER happened before.

Yeah, don't you just hate when that happens...I mean, the reason I bid on the 3" frag was because I only had three inches of space...what are you going to do with the other three?? Some people always downplaying their corals and giving you twice the size...I mean, what's wrong with people these days!?

absolutely correct! haha.

I will take some pictures .. once i finish with RE-AQUASCAPING today ... while putting the epoxy & frag on a ledge last night, the left side of my rockwork gave out ... spent about an hour trying to stabilize everything for the night, and picking up boken frags .. :-( ... yay for me.


both of the over frag pieces were oversized as well ... CRAZY!

do we get to know where/whom the frags came from?
I'd like to personally thank the person.

I was a little confused at first when I read this but #1 was supposed to be 6", but as long as all is good, then all is good. It was good to see you again Lisa, hope you enjoyed the day. I'll pass this on to Russell also, as the SB tort was out of his tank.
