They are among us!!
Two pavilions at Rio Vista Park located just off of the 101 and Thunderbird Ave have been reserved for the May 24th FRAG West meeting from 5pm -9pm. This is designed to be an all inclusive Frag event, to encourage both East and West side and family participation; there will be hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, baked beans, potato and macaroni salads and much more.
Rio Vista Park has been open for just over one year and has a variety of outdoor activities. Our pavilions are located just feet from a large playground, volley ball court; stocked fishing ponds, Skate Park, baseball fields, basketball courts and a water play area for the kids. There will also be a craft table set up for the children attending.
The money raised at last weeks West Side Frag meeting was enough to reserve the pavilions. Many have asked about donating for food costs; watch the discussion board for further details as we get closer to the BBQ date.
