Anthony from Long Island was there. I think it was the same room as Chris. If you want to get in touch with him, I have his email address. Nice guy. Gave me a free frag for being a loyal customer!
 
I wasn't impressed with Jason fox corals. Prices are absurd and nothing special IMO. I sat back for a while and watched and listened intently. That is my personal opinion and conclusion.

He was in the second room on the right side corner walking in. All zoas and palys right. Spanish dude right?
Btw Chriskid was the Chris I meant. Wasn't in the room with the other guy thanks

It's an acquired taste. I went looking for the sour twist specifically (have Ryan show you his- absolutely amazing). Also, the vivid rainbow, and Tierra del feugo are two of my favorites in my tank. I got a 1" of the TDF on his live site for $60 which I thought was a steal. JMO.

I may know who your talking about was he against the left wall by the door. If it is I have his card but I think from mass. Did the tank say 15 but he charged 10

I'm pretty positive Tierra del Fuego is not an original Jason fox coral.
 
Glad I went , disappointed I didn't get to spend time and chat with people there. I was overwhelmed with this as my first one and couldn't believe how many people were here. This is a exact quote from my wife " people are acting like savages" lol. I can't wait for the next one and had a great time , I want to bring a buddy who is in freshwater to try and convert him. Thanks again for a awesome event.
 
I didn't notice any "savages," but I was getting annoyed with people who spent 20 mins haggling over a $10/$20 purchase. If the guys says $20 you don't need to talk him down within the first hour of the event. When it's that crowded, you need to keep moving so everyone has a chance. I'm glad it was more relaxed towards the end of the day.

I believe its a tyree frag the TDF frag I picked one up yesterday! Also the red dragon, tubbs staletta monti and one of his new pieces the terra nova acro I think is going to be a sick piece.
 
Fitch, thank you for being awesome. With so many vendors to deal with, you remembered every little detail and took care of everyone. This was my first swap as a vendor and I was pleasantly surprised at the amount I sold being just a hobbyist.

Everybody was exceeding nice, even folks that wanted a better price weren't rude. I had a great time talking to folks that were beginners and Lou from Tropic Marine was extremely helpful in talking to me about some issues in the tank.

I look forward to returning for the next one. Thanks again.

Pat had some nice sized pieces that were healed for some time for $50. That was a great price for it IMO.
 
I liked that tanks that have prices marked the best . otherwise I will wait till someone asks a few prices and decide whether to stay or move on. don't like asking for prices on everything that looks interesting to me.

Agreed! I definitely bought more from the ones that were marked.
Great turnout, Aqua Dreams (the LFS close to me) had a stunning showing!

I really enjoyed talking to the guy from NH with the small $10 zoa frag station - he really embraced the spirit of the hobby!

I'm pretty sure TDF is not tyree. I believe it's a vivid or wet thumb origin.
