how do u get a coral frag off a plug or would it be ok to glue the plug to a piece of LR? Will the Acan frag i have grow around the plug?

Don't pull the frag off the plug. You may damage it. As the coral grows, it will encrust the plug, and you won't even know it's there.

You can try cyanoacrylate gel or two-part epoxy to glue the plug to your LR. I usually try to reduce the size of the plug with a Dremel too, or at least round off the edges to make it less obvious.

Poukie is correct. The coral will flow over the plug to the surrounding LR further cementing it to the rock.
