What a great way to start the year off. Many thanks to Tom and Amy for they're hospitality. It was great seeing every one! Now........to play with all my corals!:bounce2::bounce1::bounce2::bounce1::bounce2:

Ditto to all of the above. Kelsey and I had a wonderful time meeting all of you guys. And loved all the corals i got, and won he he. Can't wait for the next swap and meeting. See you all soon.

Thanks everyone that came and a big thanks to Tom and Amy for hosting in their lovely home and even bigger thanks to Tom and Grant for contributing all their time and effort into putting this together, oh ya and corals too!!! Thanks everyone for kicking *** WOOT!!!

Like everyone said ...Thanks Tom and family for hosting and Tom and Grant and the rest of us for that incredible coral spread. That was one amazing looking table reminded me of the fair when you have to throw a ping pong ball into a goldfish bowl to win. Except this was easier:)
Not quite sure what Justin is trying to say but I agree!

Thanks everyone for making this first annual frag swap a success. Thank you Grant for all of your work in the background. This swap wouldn't be this successfull without your help and your generousity.

Thanks to our sponsors, Diablocorals, Reed Mariculture, and Ceasars for your dontations.

We will see you all again next year :D :D ... start fragging and saving new corals for the next swap.

Thanks for hosting Tom! And everyone for being generous.

Had a great time and for those that don't know, Tom knows how to BBQ. He timed the Tri-tip just right. I would have overcooked it!

Thank you Tom and Amy, you guys are always great hosts. It was nice to see everybody and I came home with some sweet corals. THX

I though I brought a big enough box this time around, and yet I still had to baby sit a few loose frag containers on my front seat for the ride home :D

Think I left with about 6 times what I would have walked out of a store with for the same price.... supposed to be a frag swap not a mini colony swap lol some of these "frags" are huge O.O

Justin, the club uses the money that we generated from our raffle to buy corals for this swap so that is why you see so many corals. Grant also put in tons of corals from his tank and I brough in all the corals from my frag tank. The next one should be even bigger :D ... keep buying those raffle tickets ;)

I am so glad that we had a big turn out, hopefully next year it will attract more members.

AND HERE IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE AFTER THE SWAP.

I am still trying to figure out where to put everything so bear with me, but wow, never thought i wiould have this much coral this soon lol. Thank you all for everything.

Any tips on how to glue or mount this stuff would be greatly excepted. oh and no comment on the orange Monti ? It didnt work out the way i wanted and it was getting late so i havent mounted it yet.

Again thanks all of you. By meeting all of you i know i am going to enjoy this hobby so much more now.

Bill. What works well for me is to use super glue gel. I put a big glob on the bottom of the frag plug. Then go straight into tank with it and twist it back and forth to break the outer seal on the glue that is formed from entering the water. The water cures the surface of the glue instantly. All you have to do is squish it and twist it on the rock to make it stick. The more glue the merrier.

So would you use the glue with...for ex. Ricordia?

Ricordia put some rock rubble or use mesh/fishnet stockings to hold ricordia to rock for a few days until it attaches/sticks.

Then you can glue ricordia rock onto wherever you want.
