frag trade?

ive heard of big events where people bring in frag tanks and buy/sell. i live near akron so i was wondering if their are any coming up or when they are? i heard of some at aquatic tech but idk when. also, are there any nice LFS in the area? I currently go to two turtles but they are real expensive and can kinda be D!cks sometimes. Aquatictech is just to far to go on a normal basis.

The next big one is through Cora in Columbus this Sept.(see RC post below yours). It will attrack serveral hundred people buying & selling frags & equipment.

Not too much in the Akron area. Like you said Two Turtles, Sea Cave just around the corner, Got Fish in Green, Captain Larry's in Ellet, Wet Pets on Killian, Pet Junction in Stow. Thats about it. Junction is cheapest, but fish don't last long and their coral is never good looking. You can get a good deal from time to time. Captain Larry's is cheap too, but they are having issues with keeping fish. Got Fish is expensive and tends not to have a good selection, but they care a lot about their fish and you know you are getting a healthy one at that. Wet Pets is expensive, kind of dirty and they have had cases of flatworm. They are in the process of redoing everything, so time will tell. Sea Cave is expensive and the owner tends to just give random prices. Haven't been there in a while. Hope this helps.

aquatic tech is great so is salty critter.... sounds like u are in akron or close to it and would recomend captain larry or going on a road trip to aquatic and salty...

There is another in the Akron area, it is called The Aqua shop. It is on Cuyahoga Falls Blvd. East of State street about a mile down from the library, it is bright yellow store front. Not in the best location but his tanks are clean and he is reasonable. Have not had any issues with fish or corals. It is a small shop, only been around less than a year and is growing. Hey guys Don't forget about the fragg-a-thon.

k thx because 2turtles is becoming less and less reliable. almost half of the corals in there tank are bleached. they have a small frag of fleshy star polyps with maybe 10 polpys for 30 dollars! i can find a frag like that for free. what is the fragg-a-thon?
