Fragging Haddoni

it was over ten years ago, i did not do a gigantea i will say that. i know i should have just kept my mouth shut. back then around here it wasnt uncommon at all, even the lfs would do it to get more anemones in their tanks.

If I may ask, where is "here", if it was so common, why isn't it still being done?
You make it sound easy, why not do it again, and document it?

Not being a tool, just think if it could really be successfully done, it could really advance the hobby and save countless anemones; why not do it again and share your success?

i really dont want to get on you guys' bad sides and im trying not to. the only nem i have now is 2 giant saebes, but i will try to get ahold of another type to prove it to you guys! lol

I'd honestly be impressed with pic's of the two giant "saebes".
BTW, most experienced anemone keepers don't use that term.

After being reminded of what you posted in that CMAS thread, you don't have to worry about being on my bad side -- already there.

Given that reminder, and the way things have been stated here (( like EC pointed out, "saebes" )), I am going to lean to not believing this, until there is documented proof.

Sebae. There is no such thing as a "sebae" anemone. That is simply a term used by wholesalers and retailers when they don't know the proper ID of the anemone they have.

i dont get how skullv's post shows anything, he was extremely rude in his pm's even when i proved that 30 dollar flame angels are no rarity. i am uploading pics as we speak.

For myself, I repeated asked (( am a TEAM RC member after all )) asked you to cool it in that thread, you ignored those requests. For me, that says a lot about the person I am dealing why. "Skullv" was, at first, ignoring my requests too, but then did, and sent me a PM -- that showed me a lot too -- in a good way.

EDIT -- and on that note, I am done with this thread, until there is proof of fragging and having non-naturally splitting anemones survive long term.

As elegance coral and many other well respected members of this site have pointed out, you were able to prove nothing but that you have a tenancy for lying and an inability to admit when you are wrong.

In any case, I would love to see some fragged anemones though. I am going to be in the market for a Haddoni in the near future and would love to have an option for an aquacultured Haddoni even though I do not believe it is possible.
