Free xenia (pink pom pom, blue, and orange elongata types)

Hi y'all,

I am ready to scrape some xenia off the wall of my 180. I also have a few small rocks on which a number of xenia encrusted. They are free to good home.

I have three different types of xenia as I indicated in the subject line. Pink pom pom is the pretty light pink one that pumps their polyps really fast. The so-called blue one is the type that came from Philip Root years ago. It looks blue under certain light, but it's silverish mauve in my tank (lit with three 14K Phoenix MH lamps.) Orange elongata is a taller wavy variety. It looks pink under some light but it looks orange in my tank.

If anyone wants some, please PM me today or tomorrow. I hope to get rid of them this weekend.

I'm curious to what the orange looks like do you mind posting a pic of it?

It's hard to tell the color off of a reef picture as you know. It's orange under a bright 14K MH light. It looks mauvish pink under PC's. It can look brownish if you don't give enough light.

Chuck22689 - I still have a number of them on rocks and the backwall. I can behead the pink pompom xenia if you don't mind attaching them to live rock rubbles yourself. I can get some to climb on rocks on their own if you can wait for two weeks.

Xenia grows quickly. If I put a small rock right on top of it, xenia will climb on it in two weeks or so, leaving some tissue behind from which new ones will develop....
