frogspawn prolem

had an idea earlier
has ne1 tried to get a froggies heads to grow closer together for a more compact colony by rubberbanding the polyps while they are growing ?

just curious

The heads will naturally space themsevles to fill in the gaps when they are extended. Any closer and the extended polyps would interfere with each other. Once the colony is healthy you will notice that it looks like one big clump during the photo period.

It still looks to be doing well, but it doesn't seem to be able to take more than 2 hours of light. After the lights are on, one of the heads expands really nicely, but after 2 hours it retreats. I guess it is not used to the higher intensity lighting.
