I'm on honeymoon vacation at Kauai, hawaii right now.

I'm sure some of you went hawaii already. But I thought it would be cool to share some pics I took.

Amazing place to be. If you didn't visit hawaii yet, you should. You can feel beautiful, wild, and powerful nature.


Also I see why you need lot of flows in the sps tank. Crazy waves gave me some scars on legs and arms lol

It's sad that you can't upload the videos. But heres some pics I took it from gopro. More will come since I'm moving to maui and do intense snorkeling over there.

Lot of puddle places on lagoon is full of crabs and blennies.. also baby tangs.. lol so cute. I'll try take some coral picture on next snorkeling.
And now i feel really bad keeping my yellow tang in my 3ft tank... lol tangs are freely swimming everywhere.w

So great. One of my favorite vacation spots. They have molokini crater in off Maui which is seriously my favorite dive spot in the world. It’s pretty amazing under the water isn’t it.

Lol. I'm from Hawaii and didn't know what I had until I moved to California and couldn't see these things in on a weekly basis. Thanks for making me remember to not take things for granted.

Congrats! I also went to Kauai for my honeymoon and the various beaches were quite amazing. Saw some pretty nice montis and various fishes and inverts. Fondest moment was when I saw a pair of giant Achilles tangs swimming around protecting their home!

Congratulations on the marriage! I've never been to Hawaii, but I've heard friends talk about seeing tons of "yellow fish" swimming around when they've been snorkeling ...I'm thinking yellow tangs? Share pics if you've seen them!

Don't know where you're staying in Maui but let me set you up with some snorkel hot spots.

1. Molokini Crater - Pacific Whale Foundation has some great trips. You can combine Molokini with Turtle Town or Lanai.
2. Black Rock - right out the back door of the Sheraton on Kaanapali Beach
3. Honolua Bay
4. Kapalua Bay
5. Napili Bay
6. Makeana Beach
7 Olawalu Beach aka Mile Marker 14

On another note, make sure you eat breakfast at Gazebos in the Napili Shores Condos complex. Sits on a point with awesome view and the macadamia nut pancakes are famous and rightfully so. You can then burn off the carbs with some great snorkeling on the beach right next to it.

Amazing to see their natural habits in the nature definitely behave differently than in our tank

I think I saw lot of convict, and naso but haven't seen yellow yet.. maybe at maui!

I went to all the places... my favorite was at lauai. Lot of fishes.. maybe at one glance you see at least 5 fishes

You will love it. Just be careful on steps and when you snorkel. You might also need dramamine a lot lol. And watch for weather. Fortunately From 5 days, I got only 1 rainy day but it was literally water bucket pouring on you. Food is good on trucks than restaurants
