From shredded to beautiful!

Its only been a few weeks and this gigantea has totally healed. If you didn't know where to look, you'd never know it was shredded by the Vortech.
I'm so relieved it has recovered and looks better, and gets bigger, each day!
Thanks again to all of you that responded to that thread and offered your advice!
Here it is after I freed it from the Vortech. It had this damage all along its edges:

Here it is today:

Very nice!!! Great job and kuddos to you for helping recover the health of these beautiful animals.

Good job on keeping a good healthy one that can recover from that. Its looking great in the pictures, keep it up.

Glad to see yours came back. My prized RBTA some how made it straight into my vortech mp40 after being in the same spot over 2 years, came home to a missing rbta, and a VERY smelly, cloudy tank. Tried to save part of what I thought was it's mouth, but that just died. Nice lookin nem!

This nem is under LED spotlights (two 10K and one 20K) from 7:30 to 3:00, 250 watt DE 20K halide from 3:00 to 8:00, and then LED spotlights again until 9:30. I'm experimenting with the LED spotlights.
I have been considering getting a halide with T5 combo fixture though. I think this nem would look really good with a bit extra actinic or blue/purple T5s over it.
It also gets some nice early morning direct sunlight through the East facing window the tank sits in front of and some fading direct sunlight from the West window as the sun sets.
The tank actually looks its best during those moments of direct sun. The camera just can't seem to capture it though.
