I have around 100 black occy fry they been doing great eating like pigs there aLL MORPHED OUT. All of a sudden there dropping like flies there not eating. NHBBS rots crushed pellet or flake. They were eating just fine yesterday i cant figure this out. Im watching em do circles around the brine but they wont eat it

I'm definitely not an expert but I too have some experience in attempting to raise fry.
One thing I learned (that I didn't know) was that the fry could go into shock from eating BBS too long - passed the 21 day mark I think it was. I lost quite a few fish this way. Once I realized that it might have been the BBS, I immediately did a major water change (to get the BBS out of the fry tank) and introduced pellets/flakes only. After a couple days, I had one little one survive and he's still with me today (4 months). I call him Neo..since "he is the one" : )

same thing happened on the next hatch im moving these guys now to an established tank with perfect parameters, although i dont beleive its water quality. My orange occys are all doing great never any problems with them at this age, just the black ones. This is my second hatch from this pair with more eggs in the broodstock tank, there laying on a regular basis and i need to solve this probl;em asap. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

very strange. I don't feed BBS at all so I'm not sure i can help with the eating habits of BBS at this point. How old are they? They look too small to be moving them to another tank. It does sound like a water issue though. Do some tests / make sure there is enough oxygen in the water and report back.
