Got a line on some pretty neat muilti-chips... Still interested in playing with them or just going to go MH?

I just figured I'd sell these before they get more use and depreciate further. My corals haven't seen the same lighting system for more than two months anyway.

He left me a message on the club forum. He is looking for the regular version but I may be interested in his halides when I sell these. Thanks for the heads up.

May be worth taking a wide over to the house and seeing what it does for him. I can take you over if he thinks it is worth the trouble.

He has two over his 500 and is thinking about adding two more to incrase brightness.
500.... I don't care if they work or not, that is a tank to see. Really its all about mounting height IMO. I kept these close to the water and they supported SPS at the bottom of my 24" tank. You can get incredible spread from the wides if you mount them 10+ inches above the water but of course you sacrifice intensity. If he is looking to fill out his existing lights they may work.
