We have a 36" X 36" X 10" acrylic prop tank. It includes a 1' tall "acrylic guard rail" to keep critters from jumping out (or at least hopefully to limit their success with such attempts). I also will include the bulkheads and fitting for the drain and spary bar return. The bulkheads are all sched 80.
Here is the tank without the guardrail on it :
A shot of the spray bar. It is capped and slip fit into the larger 90 to prevent it from sagging over the distance
You can kind of see what I mean by "gurad rail" in this picture (the prop is just off to the right of the picutre). The acrylic "guard" goes all the way around the tank.
The guradrail is removable in sections. I had originally built it because we were keeping some wrasses in our prop tank that were known to be jumpers, but I didn't want to overly restrict our access to the tank now did I want to limit the light getting to it by installing a cover. We never had a fish jump the whole time the guard was in place, so I guess you could call that a success
