Sorry to hear about another "wife" laying down the law. I know that feeling, but I found out that if I say I got a great deal and don't let her know what I paid I usually get away with it. Lol. Yes im still wanting reeflo. Thanks. You have my number so just give me a call and we can figure things out. I know it will be a little while before fish are gone. Its ok because Im still wait on the new"to me" tank. Thanks again. If you have GFO I may be interested in that too.

I'm going to put the shrimp and corals in my smaller qt tank to get this thing moved so things will be ready sooner. I just want someone to pick up this rock because there is a lot of it, and I need it gone sooner than later

Looks like the sale is going good. Im looking at picking up tank and stand this weekend. Will text you or talk via PM. Thanks finally found my 5 ft tank...

Well everyone I feel really really really bad to say this but I cannot bring myself to sell off everything that I worked really hard for. Over the last year I have been saving and building my dream tank and after looking at it today realizing that I was about to make a rash decision I cannot do it. I really cant! I just had one bad thing go wrong and I lost my cool with the hobby. As of now Im going to just let things settle and take it slow from here. Again I am sorry but Im going to be keeping they aquarium and everything else.

Thank you to all of you for your support and asking me why I was selling. I guess all I can say is that I got discouraged and after talking to my wife and some other friends I will just keep going slow.

Good choice! Unfortunately, this is a hobby where the next crisis is just around the corner. Once you get used to that fact, overcoming them becomes an enjoyment; of sorts, in itself. Looking at your system back to health, after fighting some plague for 2 weeks, makes you enjoy it all the more. You've been doing things the right way, taking your time and that discipline will pay off in the long run.

No matter how hard we try to do everything perfectly, we have to remember; we're dealing with animals that, many of them, we're taken from a massive ocean in which they've evolved over millions of years, putting them in a plastic bag and shipping them thousands of miles, to end up in a 1200 square inch container. Some of those creatures are simply not going to make it, long term, no matter the effort we've made to ensure they can. I'm happy that we were able to help you make the right choice. For all the headaches, it is definitely worth it!

Thank you very much! you are 110% correct, there will be another crisis and patience is key.

Was nice talking with you today man. Glad you decided to not get rid of it after all. Just let it go for a month or two yet and it will come around. All the hard work is done already.

ive done the same thing when I first started a long time ago and actually did sell off all my stuff. then realized I made a stupid decision over gha problems when I first started. the wife never lets me live it down. especially because I went a few weeks later and started buying all the equiptment over again. when I have a problem with my tank I sit back and figure out how to fix it and (try to not) let it frustrate me. glad to hear you are going to tuff it out. If you dont mind me asking, what type of tank problem did you have?
