Got questions about the foxface being lps/zoas safe. I don't have any softies in the tank so can't say for sure. He is pretty protective of his spot in the tank so will try to nip if another fish gets too close for his liking. I have a lot of rocks in the tank so not much room for him to swim around. Would be nicer for him to roam around in a larger tank.
Maybe Shawn (WHACK) can chime in on whether or not the foxface is coral safe. I'm guessing yes because his 720g is full of corals and they all look nice and happy to me.
Love this!! Hence the reason why I can't have one :hammer: Getting used to the Katoi. Coloring nicely with the foods I feed and likes to flash the flame when the Reefbrites are on lol.But Rik, you already have a pintail! :lolspin:
(Sorry, but I couldn't resist! :wildone![]()
Foxface sold. Thanks!
Thanks Vu. It was nice meeting you.
Cf. Lancelatus is the same fish as pintail.
Thanks Vu. It was nice meeting you.
A true C. Lancelatus is an extremely rare, much larger wrasse. Similar size as C. Rosefascia. They come from deep water Japan and only a few in USA ever. I would love to get one, but sadly can't afford the 5k price tag, lol
As u stated, cf. Lancelatus is a conspec and thus having no defined species yet. You are correct there, but they have been called a pintail as of late, but are indeed the same fish as the cf. Lancelatus.
Yes, please try to get a good pic if possible.
love them Vuall 3 came out for feeding this morning. the males are kinda shy but the female is bossing the tank around. patrolling left and right. lol
