Hey Guys,
I just stepped up to a GEO kalk reactor and that means my old DIY unit is available. This was made at a LIRA workshop. It's not very pretty, and it had a leak where the body meets the base, but I fixed that with 2 part epoxy and it doesn't leak any more. It has a removable top (keyhole slots and nylon screws) and a Maxijet powerhead for mixing.
There's a convenient valve on the side for letting water out when it's time to recharge the kalk powder.
I paid $100.00, but will let it go for $50.00.
