yes I'm still at it, everything is doing well even though I wish I had better filtration etc.

Here you go, these pics do not do them justice - in better conditions the RBTA's and frilly shroom will really stand out..

How often do the clowns spawn?

3-4 times a year at least...

Clowns usually spawn about every 14 days, you just may not see it. Usually twice per lunar cycle.

Yes, my maroons spawn over 15 days. Some clusters of eggs are huge and some smaller. They do take a break every few months, for a couple of weeks, then they are back at it again. Seems like just after one group hatches another takes its place. Here are some pics:
