Remembered a whole bunch of other stuff after my post about the live rock. We also have some other things we need to get rid of as a result of tearing down the tank. Mike is moving to Texas soon and I don't want/need this stuff - proceeds will go to support the reef tank project at the MOST in Syracuse. Make a reasonable offer and any of the following are yours.
1) Amiracle wet/dry filter: Maxi-Reef 200, complete with bio-balls, plumbing, etc. Have an older pump for it too but it's pretty low flow. This unit retails new for $250+. It's a little smaller than a 20 gal tank. Not the rage for reefkeeping at the moment but would be perfect for a big FOWLR or lots of different types of freshwater tanks. Or you could break the trend, pretend you're re-living life before skimmers, and use it on a reef tank. (gasp!)
2) Complete 20 gallon setup. Includes tank, cast-iron (open) stand, CF lighting, home-made overflow and sump, plus other misc equipment to operate. Tank is operational and full of macro algae. Few corals too - a really neat zoo colony and a leather. It would be great if this went as a package, but otherwise I'll break it up if we can move most of it quickly. The tang mentioned below is hanging out in this tank at the moment so it needs to go first. (The tang is NOT available with this tank, it needs a much larger home.)
3) A really, really nice yellow tang. Mike's had this fish for years and he was hoping that it would end up in the MOST tank, but he's moving before that project will be done. If someone wants it that's great, even better would be a volunteer to hold it for a year or so until the MOST tank is ready for fish.
4) Misc equipment: we have a handful of powerheads left over, misc little stuff like that. Peolpe that come for the above stuff or the rock will have their pick of what they want.
5) As an incentive for the the rock I mentioned in the other post, it's crawling with snails, hermits, etc. There's even a yellow clown goby in there with it! All this is available if you want the rock.
Again, please shoot me an email at swnenders@yahoo.com as I'm not on here much at all.
