FS: Purple tang

Sorry I am just gonna order 2 one for me and one for someone else on here.. I don't have the place/room for any extra ones if someone desides they don't want it or don't have the money, etc etc etc.. I have already had a few cancels already..

I recently got a purple tang at Strictly Fish for $140, I have gotten all my tangs from there and they have always done very well. This tang is so cool, now I just need to save up for an Achilles.
 
Ok there was a major issue in shipping.. For some reason the package is at the wrong location. So I canceled the order. Instead of holding your deposit that you gave me I refunded it to you. I don't know when i will be able to get more, but I don't want the ones that are somewhere else and wait another day or to two to receive them.. They are stressed out enough with the first day of shipping, no need for more stress.. My apologies. I don't want a fish that has been in a shipping bag for 3 days so I wouldn't expect you to take it either..
 
No problem let me know when you plan on ordering again. I am more than good for the money. I really really want one. I am more than happy to do a group by again. Thank you for the try.
 
I usually don't butt in, but this is BS. Y'all should have just supported your local LFS and there wouldn't be a box of DEAD purple tangs floating around. LFS have all the resources to arrive fish alive.
Sorry to bash, but this is why we have stores. If not everyone would sell/ buy fish. eeerrrrr this gets under my skin. Restrictions on collection getting tighter everyday. This doesn't help.

I would agree with you linesider. But I have asked my lfs multiple times and still have not received anything. I have been waiting 3 months for my LFS to get one for me and they never do. The one time they did get in they where asking $200. I think $125 is a lot for tang and $200 is a little out of control. Now craw ordered from his friend from new York and its not his fault FedEx miss the delivery mark.

stop with the bs is correct....put the emotions in check and just think about the industry and the topologies of its inner workings........ yes I agree with you having some livestock parish during a shipment is not a good thing and supporting a local business is a good thing..... but how do you think the lfs gets the fish, they dont grow them in the back yard..... they order them in transship also or purchase them from a wholesaller who GUESS WHAT ships them also ....losses occur on every shipment ....it didnt matter if problems occurred with shipping or things went smooth as butter getting them delivered to their door in minimal time after clearing customs....its a part of the process that will never change .....the only way its going to change is if they stop the import of all livestock....doesnt matter where you purchase, there are losses going to be associated with the process.......go in on usually tuesday or thursday nights at some of the biggest lfs around who ship in direct and you will see.....

one could even argue that an infinitely higher loss occurs from lfs's bringing in fish on a weekly basis than do from an individual ordering something direct..... and you could even argue morals of the issue here also....... if you think about it, who has more just cause to be shipping a live animal in the first place ...the person attempting to secure an animal for the love of it or the person wanting to use it for personal gains and turn a profit.....not a hard thing to vision here
