If the current set up tank are updated, I think he does not really into SPS, so probably he does not know what is the reasonable price of those SPS that Gabe are selling. I am giving him the benefit of doubt for that.
Gabe, thanks for the frags today. Nice size, color and very healthy. Got PE about 1?@minute the frags in my tank.

Nice tank and yes, SPS under VHO can be done if you put it high enough. Monti cap, digitata and those hardy one actually can do well in VHO. I know a grower that grow SPS under VHO before.
I just wish you actually met with Gabe, saw his frags and do some more reserach on-line on that particular corals' prices before you quick to assume that they are high price. I know there are some corals that are overpriced, but I do not think on Gabe's price, especially after you see the frags.
When I met Gabe yesterday, I also realized that he is the person that hand out free stuff in last year's frag swap. He is actually a GREAT person to deal with.
