I would say you could get away with it on a 40.

how bout a thirty long? u have been using it? On what size tank? How did it perform?

I had it on a 40gal prop tank for about 4 months until I plumbed it into the display. It works fine .......but then again I'v had sucess with air driven skimmers

i read that it is noisy, but if u call the company they will send you a quieter impeler for free. Do you know anything about that? everything is included with it right?pump an all.. you dont have the overflow with it do you?

It has been sitting around for 2 years, everything is there that I got with it over 3 years ago you. If it had surface skimming it would be a lot better.

I ran Red Sea Berlins for years, went through a few Reio pumps they stopped replacing them after 2. I think they are a good company.

I gave it a run in vinegar works fine.

so what kind of pump is on it now?
all i have to do is set it up, turn it on and adjust the flow right? no more stuff needed? awesome.

Yes just set it and forget it. Oh yea you might want to empty the cup once in a while.

look at that only 10 watts.

If you can get some surface skimming from an overflow box it would be better.

Little Giant - 2-MDQ-SC $70 only used a few months still in box.
