Quick update...
I have been struggling with phosphates since the redoing of the rock and getting rid of some corals and adding fish. I added vortechs and they stirred up a lot of sand for a while and I fought micro bubbles for a while until I simplified my return. I think everything is finally undercontrol. A few corals that looked bad are doing better and I am very glad I did this, it is much easier for me to look after the smaller amount of corals and MUCH easier to provide the right conditions for them! I am going to add an extension to the lifereef skimmer and let it go until the summer. Here is a pic of a nasuta thats looking okay. I am going to take some more once everything settles down more. I am also thinking about taking out the 4 T5 suppliments and adding 24 more blue leds, then upgrading to some 12K's or maybe a bit higher. I am tired of replacing T5's every 9 months.
