Beautiful tank ZON. It looks like you are running two separate fixtures to handle the 32" depth (front to back) of the tank an 8 bulb and a 4 bulb. Is that correct? I know the big one is the ATI LED powermodule, what is the other?

Awesome! Interested in what your thoughts on the gyre are?

mmm first impressions are fantastic..but after some days i must review more well my opinion..and keep my other 2 vortech here with me.. ready for come back if Gyre is not what i though

absolutely stunning. Amazing growth!
You don't seem to have a lot of fish in the tank..

I assume the full fauna Marin system employs their color elements and amino acids as well as carbon source for lowering n and p.. And the balling salts..

What are your targets for alk, phosphate and nitrate levels?

Hi, my ideal water parameters are 33 salinity , alk 6/7 (not more absolutely ) ca 400 mg 1300 no3 >1-2< po4 0.01

i do not use balling but calcium reactor with kz coralline sand..(7 kgs)
Zeolight system is : zeolite stones, Ultra MinS , reef vitality, color elements , activated carbon, Ultra bak, ultra amin.

that's all

i have 1 vlamingi tang 1 garibaldi damsel 15 cromis 2 wrasses 2 amphiprion frenatus 2 anthias.

i would put some other fish but garibaldi kill all new fish that i try to insert in few days..i must take out but is beautiful fish..

Awesome system. Can you show pictures of the sump and describe your filtration? Do you dose or calcium reactor or kalk?

Liquidgold, most of your answers are above.
But shots of the filtration system are always good!

Zon, did you grow out everything from frags or did you add any colonies along the way?
Also, did you dip or qt your corals to avoid coral pests before adding them to the display?

my combo is :

5 FM ultra royal blue
2 ATI Blue plus
3 Aquascience DUO
1 ATI coral Plus
1 KZ Fiji Purple

LEd pads are set to 100% RB 100 Blue 0 White 0 reds .. total power 60% (180 ati setpoint)

I like your T5 tube combo.

Can you explain visual difference between the FM Royal Blue and the ATI Blue+?
What is the difference over corals between these two tubes?

Why do you not use the white LEDs on the LED Powermodule?

Curious about the fauna marin as well.. :)
If you could take a photo of your t5s all lit, that would be very interesting..

Hi guys... visual difference on tubes are not so heavy..maybe blue + are litlle bit "greenish" , Ultra royal is a blue tube that push more on violet in the spectrum.. is unique tube not comparable to others (i know that also lunar , krzyzstof use and think same ) but the difference on human eyes are minimal..i make pics this afternoon when i come back home.. ;)

I do not use white led cause have problems..i keep fixtures around 5/7 inches from surface for working better t5..white leds are too strong at this distance and have problems of burn tips..i try to low them to 20% but since i shut off completely (also reds) i find my personal best solution..is only my opinion but white led are not good for sps corals near water surface. Tank is well illuminated by 12 x 54 t5..and blue leds give me only the magic touch for coloration and shimmer..Next week finally i will have ready my new "winter light setup" 2 Lumenark with 2x400 MH SE radiums + 4x54 t5 (2royal , 1 DUO and 1 purple tubes) ..never used MH on my sps tank ..is first time..and if you guys have some advice for safe change : please tell me i'll appriciate it!!!!

I put frags from my old tank, frags from friend , maricultured and wild colonies.. all..here frag swaps or sale are prohibited , :( and shops have only big and small colonies.. this is my last purchase australia nasuta/latistella colony..big size but so cool..

i have some colony in my tank that was little one branch frag ..but are fast grower..like monti's or tenuis.. also have a microclados that is impressive how changed..

no dip but i check if i see eggs or some algae.. i have some AEFW in tank for sure but never was a problem..when corals stay good flatworms are no a danger..my worst problem with wild corals are crabs..they are destroyer machine..and every corals come from indonesia or australia have inside 1 or 2 of those..

i use tons of glue (ecotech and epoxy) and use glasses or pipes to support corals until glue are dry..

(you can see a red glass in first pic that keep a suharsonoi in place) :D :D
