Your tank is going to be ridiculous when you get the Radium on it. I miss my Radium but could not keep Temps down. My tank would rise sometimes up to 81-82 F or about 27 C at the end of the light cycle.

Colors will be so saturated and just dripping with pigment.

I normally change t5 bulb twice a year and use same hours..maybe only raise fixture some inches for a week at the begin..
I ever think that t5 are best light for colors .. Now will see if radiums are better or not

I've never used t5 always thought that they didn't produce enough light lol I know I'm not right but always felt that way even though a lot of the nicest tanks I've seen are t5 tanks

Like you, all we can get our hands on is Mari/wild. Do you worry about algae etc coming in with them eg bubbles? Back when I was running zeo I could chuck anything in and the system would swallow the algae up. Now I'm too busy and just vgv dosing and couldn't care less about some of the stuff. I just remember there was algae when I was diving the island reefs off Bali! Probably a bit of carbon dosing with Bintang beer cans around too.

Benar i'm full of macroalgae ,like green bubble or some violet ones..

but..i have a good squadron of crabs that eat and is not a problem at all..coral will grow well also if are present algae..yesterday i dip with revive a acropora that is full of AEFW eggs ..i notice eggs because i change place of colony but trust me , at the eyes the coral was perfect..

cause i want keep more clean..and sands hide very very tons of dirty detritus..

prefer BB it's more easy to clean.

Ok I'll admit I didn't read the whole thing but, I'm wondering why you switched the lights from LED to fluorescents?

no i never use led only in this tank.. (in past i use vertex illumina on other one with worste result in my life)

here i have led hybrid powermodule fixture..start wih only this and after a year i must add another 4 tubes PM for complete coverage of tank.. led are set only blues and royal..

I've also tried led and didn't have much good results can't go wrong with mh and t5 I feel a little more at ease knowing that there's others with Aefw out there

I'm watching the tank now.. Tomorrow will be the d-day of hqi radiums...but i'm thinking about..all was so good and begin to looking hot..maybe must take other pics and let you suggest me if do change or not..

You have had amazing growth and colors in spite of aefw and flatworms so I wouldn't change the lights as long as your growth and colors continue.
