Fuge size?

Is there a "minimum"size for a fuge?I have a 30gal. reef tank.
Is there a "min" amount of light in wattage that i should have,
any help would help! I currently have no sump,and was planning on making one ,space is limited too.thanks

I wouldn't go any smaller that my ghettofuge. j/k.
The bigger the better as far as i'm concerned. I'd probably go with 10 gal of actual fuge for a 30. Probably go with 65-130watts of pc lighting, a few inches of sand, viola! You have a fuge...oh, once you add the macros, that is.

Yah. a 20long would likely do ya fine, with room for fuge and sump.

it matters where he decides to put it and what shape the tank is. i've got a 30 but it's tall and in my stand the largest i can go is 15tall or 18tall... i'm thinking to go with the 15tall.

Or you could always drill through the floor/wall and just set up a ghettofuge

that's not ghetto... that's just more work. a ghetto fuge would be to chop the top off an old trash can and run plumbing in and outta it.
