My current build

Upgraded my CARX. I’ve had issues with it since I bought it. I think the put too big a pump and it was over heating the reactor. It’s been in storage the past 4 years and finally decided to upgrade it. The upgrade comes with a co2 chamber and a DC pump. If this doesn’t solve the issue I’m going to loose it lol.

lol, that’s why I have no desire to have BTAs. Introduced one in my 450 years ago and they kept splitting and splitting and I could never get them out of the rock.

Yea my wife is growing tired of her BTAs. She likes the clown hosting but has more desire for more color

Man! I had 2 major catastrophes in as many days.

First I’ve been forgetting to turn off the rodi when I manually fill the sump. I have the ATO, but I never set it up so I ordered a float valve so it won’t happen anymore the night before the float came I forgot to shut off the RODI. The next morning, I was heading out to work when I got the feeling that I should go check on the tank. The garage was flooded and the sump was overflowing. My sanity dropped to 1.010. I dumped a gallon of salt in the sump and had to take off to work when I got back. I was expecting everything to be dead. I checked my salinity and it was at 1.018 and nothing had died except for the cleaners shrimp. I dumped another half gallon of salt in the sump and got the salinity up to 1.022 then the next day I got it up to 1.026. That’s when I noticed some things started to die, but there was no major losses.

Then the return hose came moved from the pump and soaked everything. This happened at night so when I went into harvest, the plank and I noticed that the fish tank had no power. I fried my zeovit reactor controller. And a power brick to one of the kessils.

Dang. That sucks. I run a leak detector on my tank now. I cheaped out on mine but no issues so far.

I also bought a 9volt to wall outlet connector thing so I don’t have to worry about batteries

So the salinity drop caused havoc on my sand bed. It was completely covered in diatoms. Started dosing bacteria and a carbon source and it’s now starting to clear up. Anyway here are some shots that I took yesterday.
