Fuzzy attacking zebra

I've had my fuzzy in my tank for about 3-4 months. Recently I added a zebra who is a bit smaller. The fuzzy was attacking him, and now he has ripped fins, and scratches/scrapes all up the sides of him.

What was the cause, and is there any fix, just time, or find the zebra a new home?

Sometimes fuzzies and zebras will fight, altho often, it's simply a pecking order thing. It could be that both fish are males as well...is your fuzzy a male (D. zebra can't be sexed tho)?

We've had fuzzies that were raised together get into it over food, but it was just once, and short-lived aggression. We also know of a few folks who keep "D. fuzzy" and a D. zebra together with no trouble.

If the fish calm down, the tears in their fins should heal up nicely.
