FYI: aquarium adventure sale

Just came back from there. Coral prices are a joke and so are most of the fish. I picked up a green mandarin for only 13 bucks. Otherwise, they should really try not making it so obvious that they jacked the prices up before putting out a sale :lolspin:

I went there yesterday just to buy freshwater plants and Rod's Food. The saltwater fish and coral didn't look so hot.

Half of their livestock has ich, but they still triple their price.... who pays 79.99 for a small yellow tang?
If you join their club program, you get the yellow tang for 69.99....

Went there my first time and it was my last time.

I went in one time and haven't returned. I love rics and they were asking 40 per mouth. The staff was also clueless. I feel sorry for newbies who think that is a good store

$240 for a 95gal reef ready glass tank is a pretty good price but it is also attached to a puppy mill which makes it extra bad to even support it at all.

I got this from there, 9 heads $60. 5 heads are/or have split, then there baby heads shooting off everywhere can't count them all, can see about 15 or so. Now the problem is it's taking over the tank.
Just have to be watchful on what you get..... but things can be found.

like most LFS imo, AA is a hit or miss situation....
if you're an educated buyer, you stand a good chance of finding a good deal every once in awhile...if you go there with high expectations then you'll likely be disappointed...
I found my (rarely seen) Swalesi Swissguard Basslet (Liopropoma swalesi) at their Hoffman Estates location last summer for a fair $42....

Six months later it is very healthy and certainly one of my favorites :)

Mine always just hides.

I am thinking about getting the Marineland Glass 110gal XH Corner flo pre drilled tank for $300.It is the same length as a 75gal but 30" deep. I currently have a 20gal tank and i want to upgrade in a big way. I like the return area being in the corner instead of the middle of the tank.

Anyone have this tank? Thoughts?

I was at sho tank on Sunday and they have a complete used 110 xh for sale. They're asking $1000 for the whole setup sump stand canopy lighting etc. I know a g note is steep but thought I'd throw it out there
