Galaxia - Flow?

I've read that most LPS don't like high flow and I've had to move my galaxia as his tentacles extended about 10 inches and slapped one of my candy canes and the candy didn't like it very much...WOOOPS. hehe, so I moved him to another part of the tank down stream but it's in a much higher flow area. The weird part is the portion that has the most flow has its tentacles extended 1-3 inches and are waving in the current LIKE CRAZY. Getting all tangled in itself and stuff and it looks almsot all white because it's extended. The other portion of the coral thats not in so much flow stays only extended about a centimeter at most. I'm probably going to move it around the rock so it's not getting blasted but with all the extension I'm not so sure it's a bad thing where its at. Any thoughts or experiances with placing these guys would be appreciated.

The more flow on mine, the longer it extends. Right now, the top ones are up to 12" long and the bottom ones are much more dense but only 2-3" long. I took some pictures the other day but it's in a fairly low light area so with the slow shutter speed, the sweepers look like smoke.

Hmm, I guess it's a good spot them. I have it in a nano...so when it extends...it's like half the tank. I positioned him on one of the sides last night so it's not up front and it's sweepers would have to do a 90 degree around the rock face up stream to get anybody. It's right where the nano stream's flow bouncing and rushes down at it so hopefully it loves it. Thanks for the responses, put me at ease. :)

My galaxea loves the current. But the sweeper arms tend to become tangled and I am not sure if it feeding correctly if the arms are not extending correctly? Anyone have an answer?
